Oil pan on top is Pontiac G8.. dipstick is in oil pan
Oil pan on bottom is Camaro LS3/L99.. Dipstick is in the block

Kjel it looks like your moving along now. You have all the right people giving you advise form experience with the same issues. Its looking good.

use a 6spd from a escalade and you can use a slip yoke, eliminating the need for custom parts for the driveshaft.

These transmissions are huge! Take into consideration that 2nd gen drivetain sits offset torwards the passenger side about 1/2 an inch..

Pontiac G8 tansmission pan is shallower.. I am setting that up currently on a first gen..

This is the pic I totally expected. I think 2nd gens may have less tunnel clearance than 1st gens, based on what I have seen online and my own experience installing a T56 in my 77. And every centimeter is moves back the more cutting is needed. The 6L80Es appear to be tall & hang low but not terribly wide.

Thanks guys.... I dont now what to do yet, but i have to cut fore shore..
I also have problems with the altenator:mad: hmm the engine sits to low i think i will get it up little so i have more ground clearens.. you know the road her in NORWAY is bad:cool:

You can't use factory low mount serpentine system in the DSE sub. it will not clear. You will have to use a high mount factory setup or go aftermarket.

Im starting to wonder if i will just sell the engine and transmission and by one with manuell transmission... and with the right assesoriss...think that will be better....hmmm:unibrow: maybee LS9:)
