Nothing like being out on the water----we grew up on the delta--fishing and skiing every weekend during the summer---Houseboat trips on Lake Shasta, Powell---great memories. Cassie and I are kicking around the idea of a 28 foot Eliminator to make runs out to Catalina island. Twin Procharged 525's. Doesn't that sound relaxing? LOL. It may slow down the car program however----as if it could go slower. Enjoy the boat---the car will be ready to take all your money once you get back on land. (See G, I never said-"Awesome Boat!", "Looks Great!, or "Great work!" once---tempted to do it though.

D

Yeah, I forgot how fun boating is. Just got back from the lake again and this is the third night in a row that I'm getting in around 9:00 p.m. with the lake literally two minutes away.

Not sure how relaxing twin procharged big blocks would be but it sure does sound exciting!!

Thanks for the post bro, I can always count on you to make me laugh

This is the first year in 10 that I haven't been on the water. All of my wakeboarding buddies have moved or have other interests. I de-winterized my boat this year and the oil looked like chocolate milk and a freeze plug had popped out. I decided to park it for the year and dive into the engine rebuild over the winter.
The two happiest days in a boat owners life are the day he brings it home and the day he sells it. It is a lot of fun when they are running well.

Yeah that isn't exactly relaxing :) Though hanging out on a mooring can at Catalina for the weekend is pretty darn relaxing. That is what I was doing last weekend :) Except on a 36' sail boat.

Hey Doug, we should do a day at Marine Stadium. I'd love to see you crash.. er I mean ski or wakeboard. Welcome to bring your family too.

Right on Gaetano!! Folsom is my old stomping rounds. In college I would hit that lake 3-5 nights a week after work or school. I grew up in Loomis. Have they managed not to drain the entire lake this year lol?

Dude, you would seriously not believe how high the lake is right now. As you drive into Browns Ravine all of the benches as you drive in are under water. Hobie ramp is completely closed because the parking lot is under water.

On Sunday I got turned away from Browns Ravine because boat trailor parking was full. Went to Granite bay and got turned away for the same reason.

Beals Point, same deal but got word that Folsom Point just opened up 10 minutes ago.

Finally got in the water at Folsom Point.
