I started this journey with car shows and judged shows with numbered z28's LS6's, Yenko camaro's etc, and saw the Mule and have not looked back.

Bill, keep up the good work.

Bingo, we have a winner. It very much is part of the big picture and business model. You can only run so many cars on any given day through a autocross or roadcourse, but you can have several hundred cars in a show producing more spectators and interest in our segment of the hobby. Vendors need more new faces in front of their products and what better way to educate them than at a real event. Plus, lets face it, some guys do enjoy static car shows and are proud of their builds.
You guys know where I am at with car shows, just never have been that guy to sit there and polish a car all day, but many do like that and we want them at our events too. Who knows, my bet is we will convert some of them and have new blood on the track.
I see it as a win for everyone, and will not interfere with what we already have going. Vendors get more customers, we can keep the price down for competitors by the car show helping pay for the venue and new guys get turned on to turning corners.
Now, on a serious note, I would like to have a special section of the car show for those that are participating in the rest of the show and believe me, Rubber on quarters will get points.

100% agree with Stuart and Bills posts.

We're all CAR guys.... I've never seen a car I didn't like... and the more people and cars the better!

I also like the "area" for the cars being driven. If you have people around - they're going to want to look at these cars and ask questions etc.

Set the hook and reel 'em in. :D

Hope you get the car done in time for Heidt's, Mark. That was so much fun last year. Hope I can get all the time off of work to run my car at some of these events this year ...

Asking for six consecutive weeks off ...

Bill, I know you didn't really mean this literally. "and have new blood on the track". lol New faces yes. No blood please.
