Like most products, there are advantages and disadvantages.
Getting enough fuel to make horsepower is not usually the problem, it's fuel control. A 350hp engine will have the same problem as a 1000hp enine will when the tank is 1/2-full and turning corners if sufficient fuel control is not maintained. The overall cost is also something that needs to be determined. For the standard VaporWorx-optioned tank offered the fuel module is from the 5th-gen LS3. With it, and the other fuel modules, no other major external components are needed. No fuel regulator, filter, return lines, etc., and no extra real-estate for them needed. Add those components to the cost of the other tanks. I'm not nearly as smart as the OE's. They have it figured out. If they could get it for less money and keep it reliable, they would do it. The fuel module is the best option for both. Also, just for clarification, VaporWorx does not make tanks. I work with tank builders and individuals to come up with fueling solutions that have been built, tested, beat on, and validated before being offered for sale. |
Just got my tank today with the vaporworks, and WOW, Looks like art.

Search for previous descriptions of this setup as well as vaporworx site. I purchased this setup and will be trying it out soon. I shopped for months and found this to be the smartest value available for performance and spirited driving fuel injection . Trying to find an equal alternative that allows one to find replacement parts nearly anywhere...OE parts. |
Will the stamped tank fit with the car being mini tubed?
It sounds like the Vaporworks tank is the way to go, Thanks Kirk |
so i just ordered my ls3 480hp t56 kit from pace today. I already have my tank from vaporworks tank. Does anyone have a list of everything that is needed to run from the tank to the motor? Fittings, hoses, lines or a layout game plan?

Does anyone have a phone number for Carl @ Vaporworks? I would like to ask a few questions and get a tank ordered. Or if Carl you see this post please call Rob @ 707-480-4881 Thanks.
