I am not sure what the thinner grey one is. But the darker one looks like lizard skin. It sprays on almost a purple color but dries a charcoal black.

Is the thick gooey gray a sound deadener? If so what product is it?

The gooey gray is Lizard Skin and the light gray paint is POR15

Both are great products
