Some dude from a Swedeish car club posted that, and a number of other very nice cars on PT.com many months ago.
I dig it. You gotta remember that northern europe is heavilly into Touring Car racing. This build was clearly influenced by that. Good to see some creativity applied to a 1st Gen. I think we have enough SS stripes, OE spoilers and chrome. If the thing runs well on top of that...double cool. |
I have to say, it is a pretty close rip off from my body kit. Do you guys hate my version as much as his interpretation of it?

Not at all Tyler. I wish you could get it (and/or the other thing we've talked about) into production.

Tyler, yours looks much better. The other kit doesn't follow the body lines that well in my opinion and it is too low in the front. Your kit follows the curves of the front fenders much better, and the intercooler peaking out of the grill opening is going to be awesome.

NO! yours is WAY better I mean WAY

Your's is better, his looks good for all steel, but has a big ricer/touring race car theme, NO stickers, NO wings

I hesitate to make a suggestion cuz I really like the direction you're going in. I kinda think those fog/driving lights are probably 1/2 to a 1/3 too small. Maybe add bigger lights, add a recessed border region around them or use those areas aside of the center air intake as secondary vents that mimic the shape of the hide-away headlight covers (maybe scale them down in the vertical dimension). I would also get smaller or more angular sideview mirrors. :)
Your rocker panel extension is perfect though. I'm guessing Kris helped you with the design...he did a great job, as usual. |
