Wow what a difference from when you got it. I would be PISSED if I found out that I had to redo my whole entire car I thought was in decent shape.

It's coming along nicely Rob! Good for you. That's going to be a nice looking hot rod.

The guys at CAR have my other hotrod. When I dropped it off, I was totally excited about the new rear end (swapping the 3:45s for 3:75s) and the rear free action link kit. After they took it for a testdrive, Kevin made a comment about the clutch and how he frogged the car. I knew the clutch was a bit of an on/off switch, but wasn't sure what to do about it. Kevin did some measurements and the clutch ratio is around 2:1. He's fixing it for me and should be close to 6:1 by next weekend. Now that has me excited! |

Well, the guys got the engine/trans bolted into the subframe. We still need to bolt on the headers, bolt in the steering box/column, brake booster and inner fenders to check on clearances. I'm just glad to see more progress. Still hoping for a late summer completion, but I'm thinking early winter.

Coming along nicely Rob! I like those CAC downbars...

It sucks that you're having to rebuild it, but now at least you know that it will be right. Looking good so far!

Looking Good
It has come a long way form the rust bucket.
What are the dimensions/offset on the front wheels? Thx, Jon |
Looking awesome. I feel for you having to redo the car, but now you know for sure what you have.
