Scott/All,
A little off topic, can someone point me to the sway bar used on this frame, and/or info on how it mounts in the tube mounted to the frame.

Thanks,
Scot

The sway bar slide's inside the tube. Then a Bronze-oil lite bushing slide's over the bar,and inside the 1.75x.120 wall tube. Then the splined sway-bar arm's fit tight against the flange on the bushing.I designed it this way so the cross tube will serve as a forward crossmember giving added surport to the chassis. Thanks for Looking.

Does it ever need greased, or eventually replace the bushings?

Good design, I love it.

The bushing's are oil-lite.There is oil in the bronze.I lightly grease them as I assem. These only cost 9.80 each.So if they wear out, biggie.

I like the design - there's some nice features built-in, especially the upper shock mount (that's Ron on the phone now lol).

A couple quick questions.....I notice you changed the style of engine mount between the initial and current pics. Any reason?

Secondly - I note in the first picture (coated frame) a heavy-duty looking tab on top of the frame in front of the upper control arm mount - what are they for?

Thanks,
G

I changed the motor mount design to allow more room for oil cooler lines next to the block. The thick tabs ahead of the UCA mounts are for the bolt on Bay mounts I made for the 72 camaro projects.I changed the upper shock mount alittle to take some fab time out of the frames.I want to keep improving my design all the time.I just want to put out the best product I can.Thank you to everybody who have bought and who have Looked.

Thanks for the info. I like your change to the engine mounts for the same reasons. Nice design.
