It is a new tire that BFG is about

to release to the public.

ccracin 11-06-2012 12:02 PM

Any info on available sizes Payton?

Are those the new bfg tires on Kyle's DSE camaro? looks like he also has 335's on the front?

Payton King 11-07-2012 08:08 AM

I do not know the sizes

They will be 200 tread wear and a compound similar to PS2 if what I was told is correct.

Ron in SoCal 11-07-2012 10:14 AM

Pretty sure they were 335s...

Thanks Payton. We were just getting ready to buy tires. Maybe we should wait. Any idea on release date?

335 on the front is the new hawtness

The juxtaposition of those two 2nd gens makes it clear. Actually I'm amazed how well that 335 packaged up front. I did a lot of work to fit 335's on the front of my Mustang but I had to build ridiculous fender flares to do it. That one just tucks up in there nicely. I wonder what his turning radius is with those on ?
Looks good that's for sure. Althoug it should be noted Mark Stielow won with little 275's.

Agreed Preston, and also the fact that Kyle and Finch performed not nearly as well as they usually do. Chalk it up to newer setup and newer unproven tires. Says a lot for tuning.

Of course, Stielow wins with very little tuning time too.
