I just hope Obama is smart enough to realize that he only got HALF the popular vote --- and that half the people in the USA DID NOT vote for him... and maybe he's smart enough to back away from the socialist Obama Phone anti anyone that's actually employed and making money stance.

I voted for him last time... because he ran on a moderate platform of bringing everyone together... well... that... and who could vote for McCain/Palin. But I've never seen a POTUS that's been more divisive and more anti 'success'.

What amazed me was the republican projection stats were so, so far off. Several of them were calling for a landslide victory for Romney. How in the world could they be that far off....

I don't think any body thought Romney would get less votes then McCain. If all the people who voted for McCain would have voted for Romney yesterday we might not be having in this conversation. I know he would have gotten the popular vote, not sure if that would have gotten the electoral vote.

I hear ya, I just look at the Dems projections and they were almost spot on. Their ground folks really seemed to get a better feel of the actual voter sentiments out there and converted those into pretty accurate stats for their campaign workers. Plus I heard over 10 million new voters in this session mostly went Dem too. That's a tough mountain to climb when ya got bad data...
