PT just life life is a spectrum of styles from the no-nonsense all function car to the more showy car that thinks about form first. Just build a car you like and don't worry so much about what Mr. Smith is building :) Personally I like to use the simple OEM stuff although the kits I've seen look pretty damn sweet. |

this is a little of topic but i just bought a March setup thinking i could save 60% and still get the look, well i got the look but thats only till i start adding the shims to get it to track.. pulleys are off by over 1/2 inch and the fit is just not what youd expect from an engineered system, so if the tru track actually tracks true, thats what im buying next time

I like the polished stuff on these PT cars, and the fit and finish these people are putting into them. |
I coulda tested them for you today. Dyno'd 2) LS7's.
I think that Ac compressor location is going to be a problem though as stated above, may need to hack crossmember for clearance. |
I agree with Steve R., build it your way. Everyone who is able to buy the nice aftermarket stuff that may not be pure-function/street-fighter should do just that...but I must say, when you use OEM style stuff and make it look nice, you get reliability, ease of obtaining replacements, and most importantly, you get the most "why didn't I think of that" statements from the onlookers.
