Was going for '53 Porsche Azure blue.. but Dupont couldn't find the formula.. thier first try was WAY dark. So we used the Atlas color chart and found what we thought was close.

Turns out it's brighter.. like a darker Laguna Seca blue.. it's pretty and when it gets kitted out with trim/wheels/stuff it will really pop.

Next week we assemble Track Rat and Jon at Best Of Show will lay down the CF and blood red graphics.. we will also be doing a tatoo on the lower front fenders.

That reminds me of my friends 67 Pontiac Convertible that he painted Raspberry Pink about 1989. He sold the car a few years later, but it was close to that shade above. Purple has always been popular since the 60's.
