Here is a few pictures of the car outside so you can see the ride height and the paint with the hood stripe.
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...idPhone095.jpg I also put a set of Harley Davidson Headlights in for a different look. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...idPhone094.jpg Check out the hood charcoal stripe. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...idPhone093.jpg Here you can see how the quarter windows turned out and how the fender got widened a little. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...idPhone091.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ne090-Copy.jpg Here is an up close shot of the Head Light. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ne055-Copy.jpg Well some more trim, engine and interior and we should be driving this ride... Thanks for looking.. |
Think of me when you consider selling this in a few years. I would be interested if I don't have one already.

Very nice Ed I just love the 65-66 fastbacks! I really like the colors on this one.
|
Marty, this one will be going soon after it is done as I have the two Camaro's and the Nomaro along with a truck I am doing and will not have room for this one...
Rick, The color is a Mercedes Silver and the Charcoal is from a Dodge Truck. They work good together and show off the treatment we did on the wheels. Working on the Engine and then Interior stay tuned. Ed |
Bummer - need to sell something first
anyone interested in a 62 Bel Air Bubble Top (998 Car) Quote:

Here is a shot of the 302 Ford engine now in the Mustang. The engine compartment is painted the same color as the hood stripe.
I have the Chris Alston fender bracing and added the over flow and PS can to the bar with their clamps. Put the Billet Specialties Tru-Trac on this for a killer clean install. Wiring this all up now. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ne056-Copy.jpg Notice the Camaro fender covers!!! enjoy, Ed |

Back on the Fastback
Well it has been awhile since I was on this forum as things get pretty busy for me.
I did get the mustang running and driving and will be working on the little bit of Interior that is left. Got the TMI seat covers and foam for the stock seats. I will put up a few pictures as it progresses. Got busy building a few other cars so this one always goes to the back burner for some reason. |
Glad to hear you are back on it Ed. Looking forward to see it finished.
