The plate is plug welded in place with a few stitches around the perimeter.

The 3 bolt holes are drilled thru from the inside. The top bolt is above the upper tangent so it won't be flush. The upper hole was opened up to about 3/8" thru the cowl (just large enough the clear a 1/4-20 socket head cap screw)

Thats awesome you figured it out, but sucks that DSE is currently not producing wiper motors at this time.

The top bolt will need to be sealed during final assembly with a small amount of 3M strip caulk.

Taking measurements before cutting, the stock arm will be welded to the DSE arm with the splined hole.

Tacked together, rechecking measurements.

Update complete. Upon final assembly the "park" position will need to be set and nut torqued.
