Very nice! As for the one piece windows, making them roll down shouldn't be that hard. Sedan window channel is available in the lengths you would need, and since it is a sedan you can use one of the "streetrod" universal power window mechanism. I haven't done it myself, but I have seen it done and I really don't think it would be that hard.

One more thing, where did you get the washers used on your hood latch??

i thought about making the windows functional, but hey, why all the weight in the doors.

plus polycarbonate windows scratch more easily, so i just leave them up and fixed. this car is not meant for "boulevard-please-everyone-look-at-me-cruising" where it is important to roll down the window to flirt with the girls ...

i find another way to get fresh air in ... we will see.

the washers are really neat :unibrow: i know. i have a shop here they sell them. it is metric dimensions, but i guess US countersunk screws will fit too. they come stainless steel. i could send you some if you would like to have a set. i found a store here i get 50 STAINLESS STEEL countersunk M6 screws, lets say an inch long, for maybe 7 bucks

but the washers are more expensive though ...

after so many years i rode to the gas station and filled it up.

my heart was beating like crazy i was so nervous ..... what you do if some grandpa hits you in the back or so with his car ......

the engine runs great. right now i still fight some braking power battle which i hope to win tonight .... the cowl needs some modifications and is not mounted yet. and i cannot find new chrome moldings for the rear quarters so i havent installed the door molding either ....

but you know what i just love it the way it is ... these minor things can be done in winter for now i just testdrive :D :D :D

i know !! 5 years !!

damn. well, i had health problems in 2006 and it delayed everything for 1 to 2 years. i then had some side projects and many things that distracted me .....

you can imagine the relief of actually driving that car .... :)
