How do you suggest I start a build thread? Just start from the beginning with another intro or do something different?

Well

Your introduction is basically the start. All you ned to do is post it in the Project updates section.

Most people don't keep looking back at the new introductions once the threa falls down a page.

One of the Moderators will move this thread to the project updates if you want it to become the build thread.

We need to get you an avatar and a signature line also  :lmao:  :lmao:  :lmao:

Heck-- I was proud of myself for figuring out how to post the pictures!!

If you don't mind, go for it. I will continue with the updates as I progress. I guess it is good incentive to keep chasing parts!

I have to commend you guys for always trying to stay positive. I have been involve in a couple of off road forums in the past that were completely the opposite and would light a guy up just for asking a simple, admittedly naïve question.

Here stupid questions turn into 4 pages of text book learning! You gotta love the generosity of the knowledge and enthusiasm from both members and vendors.

No new pictures but I picked up a Wilwood Brake/Clutch pedal assy. on Monday and on Tuesday the UPS guy dropped off a pair of Hookers for my Christmas present!
I ordered a set of Hooker Fox body Mustang headers. From my best precision guesswork it looks like I am going to be able to make them work with minimal tube modifications.
I will get a couple pics tonight to post up.

I was hoping but not holding breathe that these Hooker motor swap headers would get me close. They did. I need to clearance the front subframe a little bit. The motor is still 1" off set to the right. Once the frame is clearance I will move it over and see how the passenger side fits. Steering is going to just barely slip between the primary's.[ATTACH][ATTACH]43933

I moved the engine back another inch. It will require modifying the cowl flange slightly. I guess that is a good reason to clean it up or eliminate it.
I wasn't going for a complete custom engine compartment look but it is what it is.

I need to get to the engine builder this week and pick up my other cylinder head so I can mock it up with both headers in place to figure out mounts.
