I just got a notification that my book hit number 62 on the top 100 sports biographies on Amazon.com. How cool is that. The number moves around every hour, but it was right there today. That put it in the top 4% of books sold on line via Kindle. This is according to the reporting data they sent me.

Number 58 out of 100 today.
Sports biographies on Amazon.com. Search "The Train Ride" by Jim Hall. |
I was laughing so hard while reading the book last night I had to take my glasses off and wipe my eyes three times -- I couldn't even finish the page!
The gamecock story…. Oh gawd that was funny! |
Hey Greg,
I got a body slamming negative review from a Jane Austen reader. It is hilarious. The responses to her critique are classic. Someone asked her why she (if she is indeed a she) would bother to chose a book about Division II football over the thousands of other offerings on Amazon more suited for her intellect. She went as far as to say "Mr. Hall is not a writer". Hellfire, I'm the first to admit that! I love it! Here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/review/R27IADP...wasThisHelpful |

My book broke the Top 50 out of 100 Sports biographies this morning. It's a quickly moving number, but that's not bad for a book out ten days...
It's available on Kindle, paperback, Nook and now ITunes! http://www.amazon.com/The-Train-Ride...pr_product_top http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-...=2940148938415 https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/the...737?ls=1&mt=11 |
