Mocked up the motor to see if I had clearance issues with the oil pan and crossmember. The motor mounts and plates that came with the car were not for a LS swap. Luckily Philip, CENCALC6, had a set of energy suspension mounts and LS plates he hooked me up with. The motor fits like a charm with the correct setup.
I bolted the trans up to see where the tailshaft mount lined up, and I'm going to use the BMR trans crossmember. A factory cross member was used previously and it caused the tailshaft to point upwards. I read the 4L60E pan should be at zero degrees when installed. BMR Trans Crossmember showed up. Its a really nice piece, for the money, with tons of adjustability.
