The BMR system appears to be a direct bolt on set up. From a simplicity stand point I'm all for that. As far as performance I think there are a few members hear that have used torque arm set ups competitively and done well. I'm also thinking that BMR isn't the only company making a torque arm set up.
Once again, if I was to do another build I would use a 3 link. I looked into Art Morrisons and I liked it especially because it comes with the rear frame rails. The OEM frame rails in our cars are way to flimsy.

Man thanks again! That's the kind of answers I was looking for. I'll look into the 3 links more and get back to you. Great to here from an experienced person.

 After countless hours on the phone and doing research online I made my mind up and bit the bullet on the rear end and suspension. So let the wait begin! UPS should start coming in around Friday or at the latest Monday.

Ron I have to keep it interesting! I'll give you my thoughts and you should be able to figure out the rest. Well after many hours contemplating the actual use of the car and keeping my son in mind. I dont want to cut up the car to much without leaving an escape to one day bring it back to stock if I were ever to pass it to my son. Lord who knows where the world will be when he is able to get it from my grip. With that being said the suspension I went with has little to no real modifications to the car. For the rear end, It will be able to hold up to what ever we throw at it staying with "Chevy" parts. Plus being I just sold the last thing of any value to put money into the car for a while. I gotta keep the build interesting. May be a long time till I can get some money thrown back at the car for a while. Gotta keep the interest alive. I'll give all real details when it arrives and pics of the parts as they arrive.

Here is what I sold to pay for these parts :bang:

Well while waiting on parts I started fabing some roll bar brackets for the rear. I don't think the welding was to bad for a newb.

Here is the driver side ruff cut. Hard to make round cuts with a dang cutoff wheel.
