Thinking of coming up as a spectator...so where is everyone staying?

We will be there with our Camaro, hoping to stay in our rig at the track.

We have been staying at the Baymont Inn 530 934-9700
recently.. a lot of Norcal Shelby and Checkered flag guys
stay there.. all are just Motels really ... Not sure if Optima
has a host hotel/motel

At this point I'm trying to make it down there. It's a 400 mile drive and if I go I'll leave here at 3:30-4 p.m. on Friday and leave the track around 5 p.m. on Sunday. :knokwood:

I live about an hour from the track, so I'll be commuting. I MIGHT be able to convince a friend of my dad's to let me sleep on his couch and cut that commute by 40 mins lol

EDIT: Oh yea, Dad is coming too. Greg, pack some bigger pants in case they have kettle corn there lol

Jimi said the Baymont Inn is the spot. So we booked there. No group rate though, but oh well....we are in.

Charley was correct when he said the Holiday Inn Express is the spot.... It's newer and nicer. Don't know what the price difference is.

My pops and I stayed at some two story building with a bunch of rooms next to a Mexican restaurant. It was decent and I didn't catch anything, good enough!
