Your car is coming along real nice. What are the specs of the motor? 346 Ls1 with AFR's?
|
Looks like a LS2 to me
The absense of knock sensors in the middle give it away and the front timing cover . Looks good man . Are those heads out of the box or have they been built . I personally would never bolt on a set of heads right out of the box from any of those companys. Just curious. Fill us in on the motor????? I see a little something famillar in the background :unibrow: Overseas maybe??? |
What inclined you to go with a Strange rear diff. over a Moser? I am unsure about which one I should go with for my A-body, and I am trying to get some different opinions.

LS2 block,
Eagle 4.0" crankshaft, Callies 6.125" H beam rods, Wiseco custom forged pistons(4.03" 1.110CH 26cc rev. dome lat. gas ports, NPR stainless chrome rings Federal Mogal 152M mains, Clevite cb663 H rods brgs, Dura Bond cam brgs, ARP main studs Cam Motion custom LS1 camshaft Roll master double roller timing set w/ torington bearing & nitrided gears. Comp cams lifters ARP LS2 head stud kit Cometic head gaskets Jesel Rockers Comp cams push Rods #7955-16 I just didn't have time to build this engine, I built the engine in my last car 396 LT4 and I know how long it takes to verify all the clearances and assemble the engine. So I enlisted the help of LME (late model engines) in Texas The motor is 9:1 compression and it is built so I can run twin turbos. The heads are ported and polished and I sent them down to Texas to assemble the long block. I'll put the rest of the engine together, also I'll build the headers and get the turbos on there. It will have a FAST intake, throttle body, and fuel rails. it will run on a Big Stuff 3 computer. |
