Rodger,

Will your trick with the corvette drive system work with a DSE sub? If so, what are the parts one would need to piece together for the complete system?

Thanks

No trick needed. GM sells it as a complete kit. Part number 19303242. Corvette based LSA accessory drive. If you google it you will find the complete parts list and instructions.

Oops! Thanks Don.

I completely missed your response earlier that included the part number.

Much appreciated.

Dang...I just noticed that this relocates the alternator not the A/C...I need to pay better attention.

Looks like it will still require modifying something to make that part work.

The best available solution with relocated A/C is Concept One. Unfortunately that requires sending the blower off to Lingenfelter for a pulley upgrade.

I see Concept one has a system for the LSA that http://www.c1pulleys.com/chevylsvictory-sc03.html
and that one looks like it will work.

With the C1 setup you dont have to send it off to Lingenfelter. You can remove the stock pulley and press the new one on yourself as long as you have a press. Its not that tough if you have the correct tools.

The 6 rib belt on the C1 will slip every time you get on the gas hard, those factory bracket systems have the accessory and 8 rib blower drive on Separate system for a reason. We had a few issues with the factory drive belt doing the same on the Dyno pulls for Hot Rod Magazine. We went to a fixed tensioner on the blower and it has worked flawless since.

Interesting, for some reason I thought there was some machining involved. At least that is what I recall reading somewhere.

Edit: Here are the instructions for the specified pulley. Some machining required:
