This post looks out of place now -- but the post was in response to DIRTFISH school (rally driving on dirt and gravel and mud) up in Seattle area....... You'd HATE what they teach! They teach THROW THAT WEIGHT AROUND. Pound the brakes! Lift on the gas! Big lift! I was told ----- We'd like to see more "contrast" between lifting on the gas and pounding the brakes. LOL Be nice to the tires? Uh NO! Fun?!?!?!? Oh buddy! It's car control to the maximum.... 50 mph on wet gravel with trees and water filled ditches. K wall? Ha! I'd rather hit one of those than be up-side-down in a water filled ditch! LOL We were doing a 2 day advanced class having taken the 3 or 4 day class previously. I'd sign up to do this school whenever anyone wants to go. They teach you A LOT. But if a guy wants to improve his car control - take their TWO WHEEL REAR DRIVE class.... that would be more like our road racing skids. |
