It sounds to me like you have a fuel issue, with the funny filling (You should fix that first) then the car dying. It could be a failing pump or something on those lines.

Check the fuel pressure first. If the Fuel pressure drops, you have other things to check. Is it mechanical or electrical. Then dig in from there.

If the fuel pressure does not drop on the corners or the stops, you have another issue, could be a bad tune or even a loose wire or terminal somewhere.

Fuel pressure gauge is easy to hook up especially if you have a regulator.....also, why not a vacuum referenced regulator? Not many tuners like those and they dont run as well without a manifold reference.

I thought the same thing. It is most likely is a fuel issue and fuel issues are solved with a pressure test first. Kinda hard to start the diagnosis without that info. Hence why the thread went quite. Go spend 30 bucks for a cheap fuel pressure gauge and report back.
