My wife has to cut those pages out when she takes extra issues to her school (for the students).. And Frank.. you seem almost.. hmmm.. worried???? |
You can have the people that have tried them, write in about the pills? Can you imagine how many more people would buy PHR just to read about that? Something to really think about steve :D

well i look at the mag now and 75% is ads
i buy the mag to learn something. At least group the ads in the back of the mag. And think of the readers as to what is presented in the mag. we cant all throw 30 grand at our cars at a drop of a hat to achieve the upgrades/mods most mags feature in them. cmon the guy who reads the mag is a bluecollar worker doing 40-60 hour weeks and does his cruizing on the weekends with limited money to spend on his ride. Id say get back to basic test/tune ups and realworld hotrodding ideas. Yes i know the ads pay the bills but so do the people that would buy the mag if it wasnt chock full of ads. I myself used to subscribe to just about all the hotrodding mags but just got fed up with all the ads. i now only read street thunder magazine. less ads ,real world rides, more substance and less fluff http://www.northamericanmediagroup.c...ntoverview.htm |

You say 75% ads? lol.. do you even read PHR? I just ran a check and for the November issue we are somewhere just south of 30% adds. That means we have 90 pages of edit for every 30 pages of ads. Sorta hard to buy the rest of what you're selling when you are so far off on you opening thought. Oh, and of those ads most are "grouped in the back of the book".. so again I ask if you actually read PHR? Anyways, thanks for the feedback  |
I Love to see build photos like SUPER ROD magazine and better formatting like hot rod has done and high performance chevy mix up formatting with some build photos and some high end show cars might be a nice change i have seen some pretty undetailed cars in the mag i know your all about performance but heah i can see rusty hearders in at my a local cruise give us the fantasy and oh yeah soem build photos later

I agree, more under construction pics. Even if they are ****ty quality (by magazine standards), they are cool to see where a project came from, and what was done.

I agree, I like the High dollar cars, but I have noticed that you guys are putting more under construction pics. Mine would be a good one!! Or you can just wait till its done. There are not enough custom chevelles that stray away from the classic paintjob with wheels and a crate motor. I must admit, I'm a magazine whore and have been reading it since I was about 9. Great job and keep up the good work.

When I say under construction shots, I mean along with the finished car feature to show it before during and after. Makes a feature almost a tech story all in one.
You guys already do a great job of press releases for cars being built. |
