The BEST is a hard thing to say, as there are so many different manufactures and Motorsports out there that all prefer a different wheel style and size.

I have been working with Mark @forgeline wheel for our SEMA camaro build, and I personally would not go with anyone but them, Mark is a pleasure to work with and the options and quality of there wheels can not be beat!

If things come to pass as hoped, I would really like to see many people have the means financially, or that there are many pleasing styles to inspire the taste of many people.

Forgeline's, abilities and line in my opinion, are terrific, there are several different areas I would like to see this type of wheel.

1) Pro-Touring (Of Course)

but also,

2) Resto-mods
3) Hot Rods
4) the general "Vintage" car market.

The reason being, I would like to see the older cars being used and driven on the street as often as possible. For the success of the hobby, anything that can be done to help promote the popularity of our cars, and the addition of new enthusiast would be the best outcome, in my opinion.

Further, all cars with the opportunity to run correctly sized disk brakes would help insure the owners that their cars would not be at an undue disadvantage out on the street.

I have a 65 Riviera, and even though I do have some disc brakes on the front, to maintain the visual appeal, it is a 4000 + pound car, and is hampered with tires that are poor examples of performance at best.

It does have the ability, even stock, of running well over 100 mph, plus maneuvering from side to side it still retains the poor lateral performance of the cars from that era.

One of the reasons for my efforts in this was to give cars like this the ability to not be at a general safety disadvantage as compared to other cars on the road.

Driving a car that is the slowest to stop, and the least able to avoid a wreck, is certainly not one I would enjoy driving on a regular basis even for relaxing stroll on a sunny day.

It maybe a pipe dream, but I would like to penetrate a larger segment of the Automotive market than just that of the high performance.

I think that if a broad penetration of the market can be successfully reached, it will also positively affect the manufacturing economics of anyone wishing to integrate this design into their line of products.

I am open as before to any thoughts, opposing or otherwise. The inputs of this and other sites has been invaluable fostering a better understanding of the market, and the ideas of the people contained therein.
