I'd modify the hell out of the 88 GTA that's now on BaT. Gorgeous car with low miles but not pristine enough to leave alone in my opinion.

I saw that and I thought the same thing.

A friend in Sierra Vista AZ just did that to his black 88 GTA... that he bought new!

This reminds me of when I bought my 69 Camaro which was an all original 307 car in very nice shape. Some guy called me and begged me not to modify it and laid the guilt trip on me. :BlahBlah: I cut that SOB up!

I'd go after that blue Z that's on BaT now, Marty. I'm partial to blue though.

On the topic of the Dodge this thread was founded on, I would not be feeling FOMO about that thing. I bought a car from the Poconos (PA) about 12 years ago. The car itself was only two or three years old, and pretty much all of the bolts underneath were welded together with rust. One could only imagine the case with a car from the '70s; somebody did mention "cutting up," which would undoubtedly be a requirement (for $18 grand). The Northeast is not where you find a "great" older car to build, unless it has been carefully curated in a car-sized mayonnaise jar on Funk & Wagnall's doorstep.

Thank you for making me laugh

love the Johnny Carson show Ed McMahon tie in!

I went to college with Doc Severinsen's kid. He flunked out in less than a year - probably had to do that he was Stoned 24/7. He would come back from breaks with Shoebox's filled with premium weed!
