Thanks everyone !! Yes, so that sale has allowed me to move to the next project.
It was going to be the Defender, but after more investigation I have changed my mind.

AND so ... I've been looking for one of these for years and stumbled across this yesterday, and thankfully made a deal with the guy before it launched on BAT this week !! I am SO stoked, this is going to be a friggin amazing, super rare build

Build ... 700Hp LSA, 5 speed trans, Update interior, custom dash, AC, full disc with Hydroboost ... and a few other items, will be the 1st of it's kind to this level

Congrats Steve - I see where this is going since you set the record on bat for a 40 I’m sure with the lsa the killer pig will do the same - looking forward to the build thread here on latg - i recall seeing a pig at dse in metal not too long ago / glad these cruisers are finally getting some love and thx to bat and builds like yours icon etc they are going up and up - there are some cruiser heads here on Latg 👍

So these Piggies are so rare, and parts are so rare I am (and I always say this) going to build this one as if its for me ... In fact I was going to keep the blue R2.8 FJ40 but now I found the 55, my 66' R2.8 will go up for sale in the spring.

As soon as I have the 55 in hand I will start the build

Truly looking forward to this one ... although not as a 'complete' build, it will have its challenges
