How about something that will accept DSE suspension, maybe like Scott has? :unibrow:

Very nice Craig!! I think I need one!! Will it accept the DSE arms, and if so will it maintain the same geometry as using the C5 parts??

Looks great Craig. There is obviously room for some fat tires with good turning radius.

Naw, you can make it fit Tom.

We are taking more pics tomorrow morning of the clip installed in Matt's 69. I'll post some "installed" pics later in the day.

The hub track width is slightly wider than stock Camaros, to 60 1/2". My goal is the keep scrub low to minimize feedback, but not too low. I had it originally set the hub track at 61 1/2", but found you'd have to buy some high $$$ wheels, due to the deep offset, to make things fit. With this track width, we can have the best of both worlds: Good geometry, and affordable wheels.

Initial fitament of a F-body 2001 LS1 engine & trans showed the alternator clears the steering rack. The AC compressor will be installed on the motor today to make sure that fits without modifications. I was very pleased to see that our customers would not have to purchase expensive accessory brackets to make their LSX fit.

Any 1997+ Corvette brake setup will fit this suspension. Anything from high end Brembos to budget oriented C5 brakes will work, and will give people the oportunity to start small and upgrade later if they need to.

I don't have any details on DSE's control arms to say if they'd work with this subframe. This uses stock C5/C6 control arms & knuckles, so any replacement will fit. I would advise caution, however, since the geometry used on this system is NOT stock C5/C6...it has been modified to better match a F/X-Body's characteristics, and ultimately better performance and driver feel. Any suspension components produced to modify stock C5 geometry will probably adversely effect this subframe's geometry.

I hope this answers some of your questions...and please keep 'em coming!
