How ironic would it be that there is a kicker's dual? (Pats/Colts)
They got Vinatieri, who helped us get to every single playoff game since 2001 and now we have a #1 draft kicker rookie, Gostowski. I'd hate having to count on Adam missing to win the game.:_paranoid |
I'm going with the PATRIOTS!!!
I'm being biased here being from New England and all. I think whatever team from the AFC goes into the Superbowl, will take it!!! |
I hate the Patriots with a passion.... but I think they're going to win it again.
The reason I hate them all started with "the tuck rule".... what a load of crap that was. I think the Raiders would have won the Super Bowl that year, but got screwed. Ever since then, they beat alot of the teams I like. They are a great team and I have alot of respect for Bellechik (sp ?) and Brady is a great QB, but I still hate them........ |
how is it there fault for a rule in the rulebook???....

Divisional playoffs December 18, 1976 Oakland Raiders 24, New England Patriots 21 at Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, California * TV: NBC A controversial roughing the passer call set up Raiders quarterback Ken Stabler's winning touchdown with 10 seconds left in the game. The Patriots scored first after an 86-yard drive was capped by running back Andy Johnson's 1-yard touchdown run. However, Oakland scored 10 straight points, including a 31-yard touchdown reception to wide receiver Fred Biletnikoff with 39 seconds left in the first half. The Patriots then scored two touchdowns of their own in the third period to regain the lead, 21-10. In the fourth quarter, the Raiders marched 70 yards to score on a 1-yard touchdown run by Mark van Eeghen to pull it to 21-17. Late in the final period, a roughing the passer penalty on Patriots tackle Ray "Sugar Bear" Hamilton nullified a third down incompletion and gave the Raiders an automatic first down deep in New England territory (instead of 4th and 10). Replays would later clearly show that there was no illegal contact, but the call setup Stabler's game-winning touchdown. Biletnikoff finished the game with 9 receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown. Oakland avenged its only loss of the year, which came at the hands of the Patriots. Sounds like they're pretty even to me. |
GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:hail: :woot:  Hope I don't p-off L.T. or any Charger fans with that last dance lol |
Jets Fan here.....Hate the Pats with a passion. Indy/Saints is my hope.

Man, so disheartening...where are all of my fellow Chicagoians??? I see the Bears beating out the Saints this weekend, not by much mind you, but they will pull it off. In all honesty its going to come down to which Rex Grossman decides to show up and play. Bears offense should do decent damage, seeing how the Saints defence leaves alot to be desired.
I would like to see Bears/Pats for the Super Bowl, if only for the second coming of Chicago. so if you haven't guessed by now...GO BEARS!!!!!! -Derek- |
Stuarts right the Chargers should have handed them there head but some how that didn't happen.
That was my 3 pics for the year Pats, Chargers, Bengals, I think it will Pats and Bears I'm hoping, go Bears Rex was a Gator!! |
I would love to see Vinateri kick the game winner Sunday.
