Very cool Steve, thanks for sharing!! We're not purests here at all but one thing I've always wondered about your car is why it has a round door mirror not the rectangle mirror usually found on '68's? Were the round mirrors used in early 68? Just curious and trying to learn...again bitchin car!!

Oh, and what are your plans for an e-brake?

The exhaust will be thermal coated like the headers.

Will they be routed out the side, or out back?

If you don't mind, give some specifics on how you plan to route it. I am also looking at a 3 link, but I haven't seen a rear exit exhaust on one yet.

Thanks,

Ty

Round were '67 I believe.. I'm not a purist, I just do what I like and the bowtie round mirror is almost iconic. I wan't all the exterior trim to be OEM stuff to give the factory look. The finished car will have the round mirror on both sides.

Straight back, very tight to the floor then up over the axle dumping by the rear quarters. three-inch all the way with a three-inch x pipe.

Awesome - Bad Penny lives up to her looks so far. Exhaust??!!!! You don't need that, perfectly streetable as is!!! LOL! I want to see vids posted of cruising and yamming on it!!! The wheel/tire and stance is dead on. I had a couple of the GMP guys huddled around the monitor playing the movie this morning. We thought - so THAT's what the 1968 Red Street Fighter would sound like....

Thanks for sharing,
John
