Shop looks great Marty!! BTW, thanks for the lead on the cabinets. I ended up buying 2-15' wall units that I'm in the process of putting together. Overall very pleased with them. As you said for the $ they are extremely hard to beat. Hopefully I'll have the garage done in a month or so. Still getting settled in the house.

Wow Marty. :hail: Your garage looks great. Hopefully sometime this summer I can get around to dressing up my garage(right now I'm changing stuff out inside my house).

Funny my wife has me finishing the basment. All that's left it to tie the electrical into the panel.

thanks again for the compliments on the garage.

ps - i still think it needs more color.

I was surprised to see my shop in your pics. Thanks! I had completely forgot that I posted those on GarageJunkies.net before doing a repaint last summer. I never took any after pics, but on Boxing Day I was bored and played around with some low light pics of the car... they show a little of the new look.

Well not being one to leave things alone.

I finally decied to spent some money to finish up the curtain to seperate the front half of the garage.

I made a quick call to the guy's at Goff's Enterprise and they helped me order up the right Curtain Wall. It's a really nice piece, my only regret was not ordering it sooner.

I order the 2 curtain in two complete tracks so the curtains could pass by each other on seperate tracks. This allows me to keep half the garage covered at all times. re: hide the project car from street view.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...n_Wall_004.jpg

first thing to do is hang the tracks

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...n_Wall_010.jpg

then hang the curtains on the rolling hooks

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...n_Wall_012.jpg

and about 20 minutes later it's done

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...n_Wall_013.jpg

I ordered mine with a clear panel in the center so I could see out to the driveway and not feel like I was in a small garage.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...n_Wall_016.jpg

here is the number just in case anyone's interested. I worked with Ed and he was a pleasure to work with.

In the end it took about 90 minutes to install by myself. My wife actually likes it because it make the garage look much cleaner.

thats a cool addition! but a lil contradictory since you got the clear centers to see out... that means the project car CAN be see from the outside.

It's really odd - from outside the garage you can see something but since your at a distance it's hard to seen in.

Back to working on the Garage again. Like I said getting ready for the next project car.

I needed space for Parts and Tires. The plan is to suspend a shelf even with the attic area.

Dennis at Hi-Speed Welding (( www.highspeedwelding.com )) ordered me some heavy wall
2 x 2 Square tubing and welded tabs on the ends.

Spent about 2 hours sanding them smooth, getting them ready for paint.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...Garage_006.jpg

All painted in Chassis Black

Picture of the center support brackets that will tie into the ceiling

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...Garage_016.jpg

I hung the first 20 footer, man is that hard to do by yourself. You can also see that the
center supports are already hung. Okay that was also a pain in the butt.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...Garage_020.jpg

There are three 3/8" lag bolts that tie the center supports in the ceiling rafters. I had to put in
two extra boards in the attic to anchor the center support.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...Garage_025.jpg

Okay the shelf is up.
The center will be used for Tire Storage and the corners will be used for parts storage.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...Garage_028.jpg

Still to do is build the uprights and I this time I am going to have the center supports
powder coated by Jay over at Pro-Tek Powder Coating (( www.propowder.com ))
