Fesler called me this morning and let me know that the inner fenders will have to be modified to clear. They may get redesigned later, but I doubt it at this point.

also, the ones pictured on their site will not fit a 64, and I thought 65 was the same as 64. The piece that bolts to the hood is completely different, and they're going on the assumption that the 67-69 Camaros are the same as early Chevelles, which is not true. Well, at least not true in regards to 64, and in fairness they list them for 65-67, but I'm almost positive the 65 has the same hood pattern as the 64.

We have had the test fitting on the 69 and will have something very soon, we have finally fit one on the car and just need to get it into production.

As for your other comments its great to hear what everyone thinks and I would love to make them for every car and one day we will have all applications but as you can imagine they are very very expensive to design and manufacure. I am sure most of the people on this site have not even considered what it takes to design and build these hinges.

I will give the manufacures huge credit for the designs they have done. It take 3 or 4 times just to get it to fit the different cars and one change messes everything up. These have to be perfect and open and close nice for people to buy them.

I will post all the new stuff we have coming out very soon, full line of Billet parts for each car to go with our hinges. The design time just takes time to get it right so you have a product you know is right and will last.

I say production run because you really don’t/shouldn’t have to wait for people to sign up (i.e. ensure you have demand before building) ... rather it seams once you have the product, it will readily be bought up. Look at this site – this is a product that will sell – sure the price made me cringe and I ignored consideration for a month now – but I kept coming back. I’ve seen a lot of price comments posted (and my wife has given me an ear full) but look at everything else - - I never thought brakes, radiators, rims etc would cost what they cost but when you move to stainless, billet aluminum, carbon fiber it isn’t cheep and when you compare the price to other things it isn’t to bad …. I can’t make’m

I can’ see why you couldn’t/shouldn’t do a production run for 69 chevelles, 67 chevelles and other popular models where there were high production numbers. My guess is if you made 100 pairs of 69 and a 100 pairs 67 you'd sell them all. Its hard for me to round up or bank on a bunch of 69 chevelle owners/builders committing upfront. Its also a type of product that if available you just suck it up because its available and there cool (on a 20-50K build what’s 600 bucks) .. if its not readily available many people will end up powder coating the ones they have and not circling back to see if the’re now avail.

Either way put a notch for the 69 chevelle count - if there not available by January I'll probably powder coat mine and call it good. I'll try and monitor your web-site and this forum to see if they ever come about.

They do fit the 65-67 not the 64 as why we posted it that way, the hoods are different and we will have them but it will be awhile. We dont assume much we get cars in and do our research on them before we offer anything for sale.

We do run into snags and that is why sites like this are great it helps us know what fits and what does not fit or what we need to do to make it fit. We have over 20 more applications in the works so they all take time but will be out soon.

The big defference you are talking about really is not important, not one of the OE manufactured has an adjustment on the hinge and there is no reason for it with the way we have designed these. They bolt up to stock location and align with no problems.

We have put a lot of time into the design and look of these hinges and hopefully it will show in the quality and fitment. :)

Love the hinges  . I heard on Chevytalk that you guys are working on some '55-'56 hinges. That true? If so, THANK YOU!!! My hinges are junk and I have been hoping somebody would make some billet versions. Any ETA on them? I would buy a set as soon as they are available  , even though I am still far away from actually needing them :( .

Yes that is correct, we should have final mock up next week and ship a week or two after that. We are taking pre-orders for them now as we have a ton of people that want them. They are very sick and will really clean up the tri five hinge. I willl post them here as soon as we know for sure on shipping. thanks
