Wow - that is really a great looking wheel. I would love to see it on your car.

Hi Jody,

Is Jim the same guy that was working on the 69 camaro a few years ago?

Looks good.

Young Gun 02-21-2008 06:53 PM

the SP3P's are some awsome wheels...I am planning on going with those on my ride...either those or the ZX3P's

I like the wheel choice  I love the look of a 5 spoke wheel...

mazspeed 02-21-2008 07:16 PM

I would have gone that way if I could have afforded those wheels. Do it Jody, do it. Those are beautiful wheels.

Cool. :D It's too bad they don't offer a brushed or machined finish.

Nice choice in wheels. Those are my personal favorites. I'd get those if I could afford them with the gunmetal centers. I'd say to tell them I sent you, but they wouldn't know me from Bill in Alaska. I'd also say to tell them Bill Howell sent you, but then they'd charge you extra. Either way, I think they'd look great on your car.

Jody,

I think those 5 spoke Forgelines are nice. I have also thought about those or the ZE Tach wheel
http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...rf/tach_bg.gif

I called them the other day and they are about $725 a wheel for two piece version. It's less than three piece wheels but it don't seem much cheaper compared to the 3 PC. Forgelines. The three piece wheel just sounds cooler but for me, I just don't know that I would ever need to change offsets. However you could put hub caps and that car is still gonna be one the best PT Chevelle's.

eville 02-21-2008 09:32 PM

I'm definitely a fan of the Forgeline. The renderings I've seen have 5 or 12 spoke wheels. Do you have a 'chop with the ZX3Ps in silver? The SP3Ps look nice too....

jannes_z-28 02-21-2008 10:05 PM

Really Nice Jody, that color is both discrete and outstanding. If I can come with a suggestion and if you have considered stripes I would have done that in a just a touch lighter grey.

For wheels stick with the original plan but paint the centers the same color as the car.

This time you timeframe is more positive than a few years ago  :hail:

thanks Allen, Tom, Steve, Jannes, Stuart, much appreciated. Wheel choice is as tough as color with me, but a lighter wheel seems to work with the new darker color. I can get a good price on Forgelines which is why I'm leaning that way, plus they look great.

I'm going through the same dilema Jody. The dark wheels would look good - but thinking of a lighter brush finish as well. Etheir way...Kick ass. Just a different attitude..Or Malitude as Johnny said.

Come on...Step up like Scott & get the HRE's. We all want to be like him!!

Yeah, they have a new wheel I hadn't seen before that looks cool. The first one is the one I like, called the Mag. The second one is the always nice FM5.

I also have Carter working on new renderings with the Fikse Mag and the Forgeline split five spoke with my new car color. Probably have to make another poll.............:D

awr68 02-22-2008 05:02 PM

I trust your judgement! Any of those wheels would look great!

I like the Forgelines... I also really like the Iforged Aero 3 pc wheels too, paintmatched or even brushed.... Or the Kenesis wheel too??

eville 02-22-2008 07:58 PM

I'm kinda digging this black rim half. Maybe with a brushed center.... http://www.forgeline.com/wheels/sp3p-grnblk.jpg

camcojb 02-25-2008 11:51 AM

well, the Mag wheel from Fikse is out, only have big backspacings, too much for my car. Thanks to Danny at Fikse for the info and help. So, still looking at wheels.

Jody
