it might fit in the trunk ,we built compartments in this car so it wont fit in this trunk. thats why the orig design was 3pc but it was to difficult to install. we made another cover this morning,i want to make sure that it fits before i sell any. bill

few pics from york pa. i missed the big day sat ,due to a little league b ball tourn. the car was a huge success esp. the soft touch clear & the cust metal fab. we picked up some big support for our sema project. my father, who has been doing cust fab work since the late 60s, said people really liked the out side the box thinking on the metal work & color. my dad always told me "its not what you buy its waht you build" i think hes on to something. thanx see ya in columbus well be in the ppg booth. later bill

WOW!!!

now I'm sad I skipped oc this year. Would have loved to see this one in person. Congrats on the win at hooters, always cool hot rods there, so thats a big honor.

What colors did you use on the car?

:hail:

bill amsley 06-14-2008 06:54 PM

the blue is called antibes blue(05 vw phayeton) and the gray is dk tarnished silver (06 gm color)

Bill, Saw the car again this week end at Carlise. Sorry I keep missing you but your dad is great to talk to.

Rick Dorion 06-24-2008 04:50 AM

Bill, I saw the car at Carlisle and words do not do it justice. Had a great conversation with your Dad as you were out and about. Sorry I missed you.

Any news on offering the hard boot cover? I'll order now.

Rick

Saw the car this weekend.. VERY nicely done.

My favorite parts are the dash cluster and the molded in rear spoiler. The rear spoiler is one of the nicest ones I've ever seen. Looks very factory.

We shot the car for Camaro Performers Magazine so look for a full feature on it soon. :)

Nice to meet you guys!

bill amsley 07-01-2008 03:52 PM

thanks everyone for the positive feeback. thanks steve and nick for the photo shoot.(these guys look at cars thru the lens and turn it into art .i have a new respect for these guys ,they take like 50 shots for 1 keeper) look for a new thread to start soon for our sema 08 build. thanks bill
