This is going to be a huge event, it's a good thing Steve has a 25,000 sq. ft. facility to work with! :thumbsup:

Looking forward to meeting alot of you at the party. I will leave the snow back in Minnesota too.
:thumbsup:

HAULNSS 10-21-2005 08:25 PM

Is there enough room for 'rental car races' in the parking lot? :unibrow: :D

I can't wait. This part of SEMA was the highlight of my trip last year. :thumbsup: :hail:

Scott,

I somewhat new to Lateral-g and protouring in general. I'm currently starting a project camaro and will be attending SEMA. Might there be room for myself +1.

Just a cool FYI - we'll have a few door prizes that will be given away. Along with the nametags, we'll give out numbered tickets for multiple drawings sometime in the evening. :thumbsup:

jlm44 10-25-2005 08:59 PM

If there is still room I would like to attend a possible bring 3 buddies that are driving down with me?

Party

This party should be great. Wow impressive turnout. #'s Scott?

XcYZ 10-26-2005 12:14 PM

You bet, Stuart. Steve has also invited a few Vegas locals, so the number of people should be impressive. Quite a few companies have offered to throw in door prizes, so that will be cool, and I'm also looking forward to hearing the Sonny Leonard motor fired up inside the building. :thumbsup:

Just got this email from the folks at V8TV , so you guys need to behave [and wear a clean shirt].
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi Steve, we plan on being at your SEMA open house with cameras probably after 5 PM. It will be Kevin Oeste(producer), his wife Kelle, drag race stud/host Nick Scavo and myself. There may be 1 more guy named Graham. That would be 5 total.
John Gust
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jody/Scott...please add the above names/company to the guest list.

907rs 10-28-2005 05:58 PM

Got it, Steve. This is turning out to be quite the event!

XcYZ 10-29-2005 01:04 PM

We have 153 people signed up as of now, so I made 200 name tags. I think that should be enough...

LVCamaro 10-29-2005 01:36 PM

plus the 35-40 from LV that you don't know about...

XcYZ 10-29-2005 03:32 PM

I knew there were some locals coming, but I didn't realize it was that many. I'll make more. :thumbsup:

This one's on me, boyz...but I told the 4-5 ladies tending the bar/buffet it was okay if they had a tip-jar. They're being paid handsomely, so no need to make a big deal out of their tip-jar. Interestingly...they're all unmarried [presently] and claim they don't scare easy!

I parked 30 cars in the warehouse/party room today, plus I'll have my two drag racing cars in place tomorrow morning 6:30 AM. My favorite section of the display is the 6 Corvettes, but you'll see a wide spectrum of stuff including original unrestored GM muscle cars thru a couple purdy nasty protouring and notorious street rods. Still have a day's worth of decorating to do tomorrow, then Wednesday morning I meet the Brinks truck at the beer store. If you have a preference in brand of beer, bring it...otherwise you get your choice of the 5 brands I plan to provide, complimentary. There'll also be plenty of finger foods, wine, soft drinks, bottle water and coffee plus tables/seating for 185, give or take.

In recap...Free food & beer, 32 car display, 5 barmaids, a couple hundred gearheads...God Bless America!! :thumbsup:

Wow Steve, that is incredible. To put on this party on you is unbelievable, I think all of us wanted to donate to the cost somehow. Six corvette= ZO6 :unibrow: :unibrow:

Thank God they replant trees!!!!

Steve,

Once again thanks for the hospitality. This is no doubt going to be a great event. Look forward to seeing all you guys & gals (if there are any??) Wednesday or sooner, just hopefully not in jail by weeks end. I can read the headlines now...Lat-G group arrested after chaos breaks out at stripclub!! :eek:

Great party, Thanks again Scott, Jody, and everyone that helped with everything. It is so good to put so many faces with these names we see everyday. :thumbsup:

Steve, all I can say is WOW, what a nice collection of cars. I asked several there if you offered someone their pick, which would they choose. Not many could pick one true favorite. For me it would have to be either the 409 car or the blue COPO. Of course I would have to fight SW over the COPO-LOL
You are truely a class act and I was very impressed with all the work you and your staff did to make the event a hit. Thanks again.

tndude 11-03-2005 06:27 AM

Ok, so.........where are the PICS??????????? :willy:
