Congrats Scott! I know I already told you, but just wanted to do it here as well. As everyone has already mentioned, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Awesome car, and site. Can't wait to get a copy!:woot:

Steve1968LS2 10-02-2008 04:42 PM

I think he meant all makes and models, not just Camaros. And Make that a X2 vote on Blake's idea. No model/year cut off and not fall victim from one month to the next based on the editor's whims. i.e. Project Talladega!

We would love to do more 3rd gens.. but they are sorta hard to find in super sweet condition.

It sucks when we find one and it's nowhere near us or a freelancer. I would get one to do build stories on but smog laws in CA makes it hard to do (invest the $$ in).

Well, okay. If you put it in those terms...

BTW - keep me posted on any new project you have coming up.

Ill have a third gen for you soon, just needs a little paint touch up. Not really a feature but maybe a good readers ride

Great article on a great car, congrats Scott!

V8TV 10-04-2008 03:24 PM

It's great to see it in print! You really did a hell of a job on that one, Scott. Great shots, too. Beautifully done cars are a pleasure to shoot, except you always feel like you can shoot more on them!

It's great to see the proprietor of a site like this who actually knows what it takes to build a car to this level! :hail:

jonny51 10-04-2008 05:59 PM

Hey, just because Scott posted the story DOESN'T mean you guys don't have to buy it on the newstand!!! lol

If our Pro-Touring type issues do well then it's easier for us to do them in the future.

If it helps your argument any, you have a new subscriber specifically because of the pro-touring issues. I've always picked up a copy here or there, but I'll fully support a mag that runs stories I'm interested in. PHR seems to skirt the issue with a few stories here or there. When I saw that I signed up. Now that you can subscribe to CP, I'm on board as well.

Y-TRY 10-05-2008 10:20 PM

Congrats Scott!

Besides actually completing and driving a car, a magazine nod is the ultimate thrill. A cover, poster and everything else to boot! Congrats again!

 :hail:
