imo that rendering is dead on for that color! red calipers look great with the color.

Yeah the front stripe over the nose has been one of my favorites too. I have a couple ideas that aren't in any of those renderings either.

Yes, we can't have that... but my renderings and paint were all done a loooong time ago. ;)

Yes Dave,

The A/C is sorted out and installed, (they did a great job with the hoses), getting the column all installed today, sending to Shawn's side to get the interior all installed, and the stereo. I am just that close. Going to go see it again on Friday morning and take a bunch of pictures.

Cool. Good stuff. I see they are really meticulous and think things out well up there before diving into stuff. The makings of a good shop.

Be sure to post those updated pics!

Dave- I have a burgundy '69 at my shop right now, we did the center stripe on it, in silver, earlier this year. If you want, I'll shoot you some pics....might be a cool way to fly, in black, to complement the powdercoated black window trim & accessories?!...:unibrow:

Looks good on that car, but I'm thinking more like not carry the stripe all the way to the nose. Just stop at where the cowl "merges" back into the hood. I had a pic of one saved but can't seem to find it now....

Yup, that is Steve Strope's "Hammer" and I got the paint code from him too. :D

On some things like trim, wheel finishes, etc., I can just look at all the pics of that car and see how it works.
