Kendall Burleson 07-17-2009 07:49 PM

Killer JOB man it look great in steel are you going to build a new grill for it? You have change every thing after all?

214Chevy 07-17-2009 07:52 PM

Bill, you didn't tell me you were a perfectionist. Because I don't see nothing wrong with that spoiler. It's as flawless as the rest of the truck.

Bill, you are making major moves with this truck. And in a timely manner. How much more time before you think it's finished?

Yeah, I hear you. I wanted my Chevelle redone by this summer. But, things come up you know. So, I'll just have it ready by late spring right when it starts to warm back up just before next summer.

MattO 07-21-2009 11:47 AM

All these pics of fog lamps and you didn't even mention the chin spoiler...?

few progress pics. i added some brake vents and leveled out the front spoiler , if you look at the prior pics, the horizon between the driving lamps was running in an upward v, now its strait, i like it much better. thanks bill

Bill you may have just have single handedly started a new trend with this truck!!

Without a doubt one of the sickest trucks I've seen in a long if not the sickest I've ever seen.

No doubt. I think when I start on my truck I'm going to name the thread, "Bill's My Daddy & I'm A C10V Wannabe." LOL!!:hail:

bill amsley 07-31-2009 07:27 PM

thanks guys, your making me blush. still finishing the rockers, im almost done fabricating . all i have left is the grille & the under hood goodies ,cant wait to start the body work & plumbing . thanks for the complements. bill

MattO 08-01-2009 03:10 AM

Just curious;

Do you do all the metal finishing during fab, or do you leave the panel "rough" and come back to do the finish work later?

Just wondering if we have an extra month of metal tweeking to look forward to.

yeah id say at least 2 weeks of grinding & tweaking before the mud flys. my problem is i keep making big changes, look at these pics. when i thought i was almost done with the rocker treatments, i stood back and looked at the scrub line of the truck and the front lip was 2 in higher than the rockers. i cut across the front and added 2 1/4 to it,then the front looked to tall so i came up with this little bumper.(but it looks real cool & im finally happy w/ the front) thanks bill

PASD U 08-11-2009 12:51 PM

I don't even know where to start. All I know is that this thing will be one bad muthasucka once you get done with it. Can't wait seeing as how you're morphing two of my favorite vehicles into one.

OLDFLM 08-11-2009 01:44 PM
