Very nice indeed! What is the schedule for finishing the car? When do we get the full photo set? It's looking great!

Thanks for the updates Randy. The car looks great. I wish I could have been there to watch at the Optima Challenge. I like the new wheels, but I also like the silver center wheels that were on the car before, are those the "street" wheels?

camcojb 11-27-2009 09:31 AM

that's a great car Randy, even better in person.

The black Forgeline wheels are set up with Nitto NT01's for track days . The silver Forgeline wheels are set up with Nitto NT05's for street & some auto-x's

The rear is a prototype bolt in I.R.S. set up for 70-81 f-bodies that I helped develop with Heidts Hot Rod & Muscle Cars. We are hoping to have it ready to sell this coming spring.

Car looks great!

I love both sets of tires. The NT05 are an awsome street tire, great handling & response. The tires are also good in the rain. NT01's are well mannered on the street but really work well when you get them warmed up on the track. It really depends on the driving that you are going to be doing.

The I.R.S. works very well, we are still doing some tests. We want to make sure we get eveything 100% before it goes on the market, & be able to have tuning info so it's easier for the end user.
