I installed the grille and trim

I wanted something a little different and I had an extra set of wide grille moldings that I epoxy primed black

We are going to a car show in Tampa tomorrow. This is a new show for the Mustang Club of Tampa at Davis Islands airport.

I sanded with 320 than epoxy primed white

After lightly wet sanding they were sprayed with SPI Red followed the next day with SPI Universal Clear.

Steve Baur the editor of Modified Mustangs & Fords Magazine asked if I would give 20 tips on how to do a paint job and wanted me to paint the Coupe for a future bodywork issue.

I epoxy primed the body yesterday with SPI white and today we are wet sanding getting ready for paint.

Looking good. That's a nice looking red and I typically don't like red. Congrats on the article.

Yes we will wet sand and spray 3 more coats.

The body was wet sanded with 1000,1500,2000,2500.

Brian is polishing the body so we can get the sheetmetal back on. It takes up a lot of room in the shop when you have everything on stands.

6 coats of SPI Universal Clear. Wet sanded with 400 after the first three.

Top notch paint work, very impressed.

Over the weekend we fit a few things on the engine and installed the AOD transmission.

I got a set of Flowtech headers for a 96 Mustang they fit the right side great

One pipe fits the left side the rest we will have to make because of the steering and they hit the frame.

Jared (Current Performance Wiring) has a shop close to mine said he could build the header but thought he had a lot of 1 5/8" bends but only had enough to build one tube today.

We went to a car show yesterday and parked beside the 1965 Fastback I painted SPI Viper red five years ago. The fastback still looks like it was just painted
