Very very nice work! please continue posting.

Nick.V70 07-08-2010 08:20 AM

Always great to see what you have going on down there Rodger. Anything new with Justina's ride? What about that SXS project you have?

ironworks 07-08-2010 08:43 AM

Justine's car is coming along. I'm working to get Brandon's 55 caught up with his. We have the 540 BB and T56 installed with the Vintage Aire unit with Engine mounts. We have bought a ricks tank and Glide seats. I think both of these cars are 2011 SEMA cars.

My SXS is collecting parts and getting ready to get a cage. I have the R1 engine mounted, the long travel set up. I have been watching Justin and Jimmy to see what I like and don't like about their cars to not do on mine. I'm planning for a baremetal master piece at SEMA. I have the Gear 1 rack, Mastercraft seats, Fuel cell on order, Weller rear hubs, Weller rear kit, I have the engine harness, velocity stacks, and radiator on order. And 3 sticks of 4130.

Just not one ounce of spare time

Nick.V70 07-08-2010 09:33 AM

When you get a chance I would love to see how Justin's and the other 55 is coming. I have not been coming down to pick up parts other wise I would stop by to check it out.

What about the 2011 Dually? :unibrow:

You want to buy something from me and then you will be a customer, I already paid you once before so I am technically a customer of yours:lol:

I was thinking a cruise, because there is lots of food. I was thinking of asking you, cuz I know you like food also. Maybe just as much as cars.

Some contrast pictures. We were able to get this guy to park his truck next to Franks. Quite a difference when you see it like this.

RECOVERY ROOM 08-30-2010 09:57 AM

You can really tell the work in the grill.

Nick.V70 08-30-2010 11:16 AM

Rodger...hows that back door from the weekend trip

ironworks 08-30-2010 11:33 AM

Well It will just need some work. We tied it down with some new unbroken straps. I told the customer I needed to do some work this morning to his trailer.

The price for your chevelle frame just went up. :D

Nick.V70 08-30-2010 12:02 PM

 :woot: Thanks!!

texas56 08-30-2010 02:00 PM

Looks great!

mad68rs 08-30-2010 03:40 PM

I was lucky enough to see the Ironworks booth this weekend, and their stuff looked great. The grill on the 48' truck will make you look a couple times. You know it looks better then stock, but you have to look at it a couple times to convince yourself they did anything... great job. Roger was nice enough to talk with me, and I even got an awsome hat! Which I'm actually wearing right now while I'm posting. It's nice that a guy like that would take the time to talk to a young guy like me. Thanks again!

Yeah - very cool. Lots of subtle detail that's not obvious without them being side by side. Great job!

Did you just say I'm old or am I reading into that? I kinda thought I was still a young guy.

Haha no, your definitely a young guy. I just thought it was cool how you spent the time to talk to me. I know sometimes people aren't so cool when your not exactly a potential customer or even if they think your not. But it was real cool that you spent the time, and you could tell your passionate about your shop's work when you were describing your new tri-five chassis. There weren't too many pt cars there so I was a little bummed, and it definitely made my day...
