Very nice!!! I'm digging those Mario. Any updates on the car besides the purchase?!
OH,...and stop calling that Tony guy. He's nothing but trouble!!:P |
Congrats Mario, Very Nice! Are 20 " wheels the smallest diameter you can go with those brakes?
WOW! Those are some sweet parts. You better put some good seat belts in there. I'd hate to see you end up on the hood when you stab the brakes.

Well did a little more over the weekend and uncovered more rust problems! It's the only thing I can't replace without buying a whole new side section. So these are going to be the only two sections that are going to have to be patched. Not to worried about its a pretty simple fix..:_paranoid I did have some good news the rocker panels are in pretty good shape,as of right now will see when it goes out to get blasted in the next couple of weeks. I'm not going to cut them off unless I have to..
That will be good news if the rockers are good.I'm glad to see you've gotten some time to work on it. Keep us posted .
Nice progress and brakes! Glad it worked out for ya both!
The best of the best man---you could stop at the brakes and this thing would still be one of the coolest builds of all time---I need your money----and Greg's. Please keep the pics coming---you are the man to take this much on.

Replaced the bottom inner structures on mine. I made a custom patch for one before the repops became available, should be very easy now for about $80 a side: http://www.classicindustries.com/con...rchCatalogId=1 http://www.classicindustries.com/ima...g//K/KW956.jpg |
Ron .... Thanx man you just made my day!!

Started to remove more sheet metal and things are a llittle better . I wanted to have it to the blaster last week but I caught a serious bacterilal infection that had me down for a couple of weeks, I'll make a big push this weekend to have the majority of the sheet removed . Then I have to make a cowl jig before I cut the cowl out. I was going to wing it until I talked to Mike at MCC and he STRONGLY advised me to make the jig!!! So I hope I can have it to the blaster next weekend .
Very cool Mario. Glad you're feeling better. Hope the car is ready for the blaster next week!
I've got faith in you Mario you'll get it.
