I'm packing Friday night Man, can't wait to see you all again. If anybody is interested in shirts let me know and I'll bring some with me. Also I'm looking for some of you guys that have shirts, make sure you take some picks in your home state, maybe next to a state sign. I want to add them to my Envy Scrap book. One day will get the web sight going.

I've been sick (sleep deprived) every Wednesday morning during SEMA week many times! I always take an early Tues. flight down and stay up WAY late...next thing I know I've been up for 24 hrs and it REALLY hurts the next day! BUT, it's only one week a year and it's FULL of action!! :captain: :woot:

Ready or not - Here we come!! :lateral:

bigtyme1 10-28-2010 06:09 PM

I can pick up some name tags so we know who your talking to, or do you think it's corny?

GregWeld 10-28-2010 08:10 PM

Mark --

We're just going to put your name in Magic Marker on your forehead.

Rodger will hold you. Tracy will write.

No it's not corny -- many newbs -- and lots of guys don't know who is who so I personally don't see any issue with it...

SEMA Lat G Party

Whoo Hoo just got the internet set up in the new house. Been without it for the last couple weeks. The brand new modem was bad. Anyway,it would be pretty cool to meet up with at the SEMA Lat G Party. Vintage Air has a spot for me, so I'm trailering down the 1972 Camaro I just finished. I better ask if this is open to everyone and if it is still at the location listed on the first thread?

Also, anything else going on? This will be my first time at SEMA, so I'm not sure what to expect.

Thanks

Jay - I could be wrong here, but don't the rules state you have to be the owner or builder of the car?

bigtyme1 10-31-2010 04:12 AM

Was great seeing you all this year, old friends as well as putting many more faces with screen names.

And thanks to uncle GW for dinner after the Lat-G get-together; not many can say that they have the stamina to close down the Flamingo Buffet.

GregWeld 11-07-2010 09:35 AM

Well Eric.... in that case you missed ALL the fun!

I had a great time. I did have to attend two mandatory AA meetings after Brian tried to slip me some Gin... and they requested that I send back my 26 years of sobriety medallion... but other than that it was GREAT!

Scott G --- We made eye contact several times -- and when I finally turned around to go say howdy, you guys had slipped out. Next year! LOL

Good to meet up with everyone - except Kenny D. Dude cost me money at the Inglese Injection booth. :D :lateral:  :woot:

awr68 11-07-2010 12:45 PM

What fun that was! Sitting at the airport waiting to go home! What a week! See ya all next year!!

rwhite692 11-07-2010 08:29 PM

Eric - I saw your son's bike at the HOK booth...Looked great!

There are 2 get togethers I look forward to at SEMA. Lat-g party is one of them. Great place to put faces with screen names.

I still can't believe we got kicked out of the buffet at the Flamingo, I thought nothing ever closed in Vegas.

We were only there because we had to wait so long for the beer buckets!!

I love the Lat G get together. It's the only reason I go to SEMA - to see all of our friends from all over (the world now!). Only place you can get everyone together the same time. The SpeedTech party was a hoot -- and OUSCI is worth the trip if it was a stand alone event! We're really all so dang lucky to be able to attend this stuff.

Thanks Jody!

Since I don't have any quality cars... and can't drive... and don't drink... what else is a guy to do, while in Vegas? :D

You know I love this stuff.

See ya at RTTC this Feb?
