Engine "inspection windows" have become popular, Corvette and Ferrari are a couple examples. Maybe a console design that incorporates a window?

mrgm 03-06-2011 05:46 PM

nice. kinda wonder about that vent though.

Man, what a mean ride. Totally awesome.
I am just starting a 70 Camaro with a Art Morrison front and rear clip just ordered.
I have drawings of the rear clip trying to figure out what rear floor work I have to do. Did you guys use their rear clip? I have the Strange 9" rear end now and am dying to see it setting in the car.
Any photos of the underside of your car in the back would be muchly appreciated.

The rear clip is all custom on this car and DSE front clip.

wheel backspace tool. You can set it for the width wheel you're going to run, mount a tire on it and install it on the car. The backspacing is adjustable so you can adjust it to get the clearance needed for turning, ride height, etc. Takes all the guesswork out of ordering wheels, you get to test any number of widths and backspaces to make sure they'll clear under all conditions.

Mark S. 03-25-2011 11:31 AM

Thanks Jody. Any idea who makes them?

96z28ss 03-25-2011 11:45 AM

There looks like there is another 2nd gen right next to this project.
Looks like a sheet metal intake on it.
Any details on that project?
