I bought the car this weekend.. what a solid project, went to 417's shop and did a tour, awesome place, the work Jason has done to this car will be continued by me.. though I am swapping to a smokey and the bandit color scheme.

Ok, car is back on, my super painter got his back log caught up.. Im dropping off this weekend..

Got the fenders on and off.. the ones it came with seemed off, so I bought some OER's, my painter hate OER's so I will take both to him :)

Did the Trunk Strut in.. Bought a 441 LS7 LME Motor... Been working on my 91 Z28 and my GN to hold me over.. I blame the painter on my car A.D.D( thats an inside joke to him, He has more personal projects than I do, and still manages to knock out cars for me)

Sounds like your painter is a piece of work. How many years do you think it will spend in paint prison?

Wheels are 18x11.5 with 315 rear, frame is notched and powder coated, QA1 Coilover suspension, Quick Performance 9 inch, Baer Brakes, Dennys aluminum custom driveshaft LT4/TR6060... car should be fun

Must be a deep notch or the pic angle is messing w/me. I've had 10" wide/6.0BS wheels on a G-body 'Bu that was notched to the factory seam & they barely tucked inside the OE wheel opening flange.

I've been following the T/A build since it started/previous owner. Glad to see progress & your "distractions" 'aint too shabby either LoL.

WSSix 12-03-2019 04:45 PM

Glad to see you're still making progress with it. Hope paint jail isn't terrible.

Fitz78ta 12-03-2019 05:31 PM

This car is cursed with paint and body guys lol!

qnitro 12-03-2019 05:31 PM

my painter is a cool cat... he will actually have it turned around pretty quick... Thinking March(ish) than built in time for Bandit Run

qnitro 03-09-2020 09:09 AM

Don made a custom close out for the radiator support.. its awesome(as Don pointed out to me, still needs some cutting and buffing, but he expects me to scratch the car so when I bring it back he will hook it up)

cantcatchmitch 11-04-2020 04:15 AM

man that thing looks absolutely menacing with that stance and the wheels!

WSSix 11-04-2020 04:59 AM

Using my work computer I can see the pics. Looks great! I'm excited to see this coming along.

I'll check my home computer later today. I bet it's because you're using photobucket to host. I've had problems seeing pictures hosted there over the last few years.

Gscherer78ta 11-04-2020 05:34 AM

Looking great! That build is going to be for real!

qnitro 01-10-2021 10:44 AM

Stance is spot on. What's your overall wheel diameter in the rear? How much travel do you have? I really would like to bring my car down lower, but I worry I won't have good travel.
