Upgrade the CTS-V pump to AEM pumps. Installed on my Rock valley tank.
Still need to wire in the VaporWorx controller.

Painted the HX and mounted it. Had to move around the A/C Lines to clear it.

I used a C&R universal radiator with oil cooler. I made my own mounting bracket and running a spal fan with DCC PWM fan control.

need to move around some wires but here are some of the looms everything is wrapped, taped, i used a combination of zip ties and plastic ring clamps that attached into bolt holes

.

Nice project man.
Just wondering what type of wrapping and tape you used for the wiring looms? Part numbers/brands to share would be appreciated
Thanks

The wire loom is Techflex and is on amazon with bunch of different sizes. just search that brand in amazon and they all come up.

Its Alive!

It have some bugs to work out. I have a MAF code (P0102) and my oil pressure and tach aren't reading. I have another clip but there is too much swearing in it from excitement!

Wow its been a while since I updated this.........

Had a great dyno session at Pro Edge Tuning in CT. They far exceeded my expectations.

Final numbers rear wheel 658 HP 575 TQ @ 7000

Dyno THe smoke was from the exhaust that had loaded up due to a terrible first tune. It was so rich because the mail in tune was botched!

Drive By (Tires are not holding)

Still lots of small things to do but its moving in the right direction

I have questions about the dyno results. Your numbers seem low based on you changing heads, cam and a ported blower. I mean, you're putting down cam only with over driven blower numbers. With a ported blower and those heads you should be closer to or over 700.

Yes, I left some on the table. I am only running a 9.5" lower with a stock upper (23% OD) pulley. I'm also running a ported 90mm vs 102mm and i'm running a 4" intake tube not a 5". I wasn't looking for peak power I wanted a solid street car. Plus the last pull was cooled down but still warm from earlier pulls.

Sounds great. What exhaust set up did you run? X or H, diameter and muffler?

The cars sounds amazing!

Thanks guys! It's a x pipe with spintech mufflers. I absolutely love them.

So I had a hiccup with a rocker arm. The tip on the intake broke. I think it was just a mfg defect. My valve springs, pushrods, and valves were all checked again and no issues. Not sure when it happened (before or after dyno) but it was long enough for a groove to wear in. I ended up upgrading to the Yella Terra rocker arms.

Broke!

Made it to a pretty big show in CT.

I've driven the car about 150 miles on the new rocker arms and wheels with no issues. Plan to drive out the rest of this year then do some clean up / small projects over the winter.

I am glad I an not the only one having to redo some stuff and I am happy that your car is back on the road and it looks really good.

Keep updating the thread as I really like this car.

I'm glad there was no other damage other than the rocker. The wheels look great on there, I like them.
Where was the show in CT? It looks like the weather was nice.

Spiffav8 09-27-2019 01:26 PM

:bang: That sucks. Fingers crossed I don't have any issues. :lmao:
