Thanks everyone its is a quite a task to try and do something "unique" and attractive yet not spoil the classic lines of the 69, but I think its coming out quite nice

DOOM 06-01-2012 05:52 AM

Want to give a special thanks to C&R Radiators for the spectacular unit they sent us for the camaro it has integrated oil and power steeing coolers as well as their Nascar core , along with the dual 11" fans . This thing is outstanding and their staff is just as amazing.

work has also begun on the inner fenders and heres a little peek of the direction were headed on those, its a shame to hide that awsome Roadster Shop suspension , but long gone are those Mini Truck days of open tires or trailer fenders so we have no choice  hope you all enjoy

If it was a superspeedway core I'd agree. Is that what you are referring to there won't be enough flow unless you are going 200 mph:question:

Is this not the same C&R unit that's in Mike Maier's Mustang? He has a single fan by comparison.

Vegas69 06-03-2012 08:30 AM

Having two heat exchangers in a radiator with so much slow speed operation concerns me. The fans are pretty small as well. Gorgeous work by the way!

Vince@Meanstreets 06-03-2012 10:26 AM

but its a Nascar core, second fan works with AC should be fine. Thicker skin Goolsby, awesome work man. Im going to copy that inner fender.

Thanks everybody for the compliments, Vince on the corners we use a variety of roloc discs, or flap discs to get into those corners

ChuckDriver 06-29-2012 07:06 PM

That's some amazing work for sure!

IMPALA MAN 06-30-2012 08:01 PM

If you have ever met these guys they are some really cool guys. The talent they have shows in their work. In speaking with them, you would never guess they do what they do. They are really down to earth guys.
Just when you think you've seen it all, just check out one of their projects. Great work guys!

garickman 06-30-2012 10:42 PM

Speaking of amazing builds, are you still working on the 2nd gen firebird? I saw some pics on your website and just wondered if you had a build thread for it.

Amituk 07-01-2012 03:00 AM

Incredible metal work guys.

You have given me some real inspiration for my project.

I am hoping to match the level of details in this build.. but we will see what I achieve :)

Wow at that engine compartment. Awesome look.

So since this car is for Lokar what cool new parts are they incorporating? :unibrow: I heard they may be coming out with some trick oversized billet pedals?

Fancy pedals is my bet. Either some Tilton or Wilwood pedals. Reverse Swing style with the cylinders inside the firewall or some floor mounts.

The weatherproof pressure pad in the bumper is the trunk release

Couple of questions for you guys. Will the trunk release be something controled from a remote? also i love this idea, I wanted to delete the keyhole myself and this would be a great answer instead of having a trunk release button next to the seat or hidden in the glove box.

My dilema is i cant find this part! i searched "weatherproof pressure pad" and got something completely different. any help with directing me to the actual part name, brand or part number is greatly appreciated.

I also have tons of questions on how u deleted the bumper mounts but i dont want to be too much of a pest

Thanks

Amituk 07-08-2012 12:51 AM

Rols,

Most modern cars have them now.

Take a wonder through a parking lot and find a shape that suits. Then order from main dealer :)

Here is one from a BMW
