Oh, and I cant wait to see those wheels. Talk about 3 piece wheels...those are 5 piece wheels. RS just raised the bar once again.

Thanks! I agree on the comments about the direction for these types of build. I think many owners out there are finding a nice balance for these cars. The vehicles we see getting this treatment are usually ones where the styling has really stood the test of time and are now becoming appreciated for what they are. The owners would rather let the factory styling speak for itself and bring the internals up to modern performance and handling levels to compliment the outside.

Vince@Meanstreets 09-14-2012 10:37 PM

snaking is right, my guess would be a coral snake.

Question for you chris. I have been playing with stainless tubing myself, what do you use to cut the tubing at multiple angles?

We normally use either a cold saw or bandsaw.

Man this car checks every box for me. Perfect color choice for this car too. 60s Fords always pull off that "plain white wrapper, evil doing underneath" thing. Great job.

Mike not sure what they use but have you tried Sikkens OTO body coat?? Works with a shoots gun, very nice texture and can be built up if need be. Also it is paintable.

They are from Vibrant. I don't have a part number but it is their standard, bottle style resonator. We use them on a lot of cars to take the bark out of the exhaust note. They are 4" OD (2", 2.5", and 3" ID Available) and come in 12" and 18" lengths

Sorry for the highjack RS!! :_paranoid

When can you start???? You may have to fight off Weld for that position. I hear he has deep pockets do it might be a hard battle to win!

I don't have any money,to pay to push that broom. BUT!!!!! I can fire up a pretty good B-B-Q grill. And that should be worth more than Greg Weld's money.

Garage Dog 65 12-18-2012 03:58 PM

Wow, that place is way over full !

I'll bring the hauler up and get a couple and store them in my garage for the time being... I'll start them up often and exercise all the systems so they stay fresh.

I'm just down here in Indy - not very far away !!!

Here to help, proud to serve !
