67 Mustang
Very nice work
Had a friend who had the underside of his Shelby done in primer like they were back in the day.. it only took two years and the car is still has no motor or drivetrain in it... Keep on trucking Bob |
Wow .... very nice!
Are you going to put a top coat over the sound control and/or the thermal barrier? Michael |

Wow that looks cool! Question ... did you take into account the clearances for the bolt in stuff, cuz that's a lot of material applied to the surfaces? What about threaded holes? Now you got me thinking I need to finish with black epoxy ...hmmm? Michael |
so you black epoxied it ,then red epoxy then lizard skin and then red epoxy again? why so many layers?

I guess nobody noticed but that is not red oxide primer on the dashboard. The interior is going to be red.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...pshxz5ugzo.jpg |
I wondered about that! And then just wrote it off as red oxide! LOL --- I really really like the combo!
|
I painted a few parts and we installed the engine and aod trans today.

lol, count me in as well thinking that was just red oxide. I really dig blood red interiors on a nice blue car. Reminds me of the C4 Grand Sport Corvettes that could have red on the inside.
Keep up the great work! |
I once had a '68 6cyl coupe that was blue with red interior, even had a red "C" stripe!
|
The owner is off work for a few weeks and wants to do some of the assembly on his car. He and Brian installing the headliner insulation.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...pseihxhmgr.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...pscnupw7a5.jpg They also installed the side speakers http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...pspt5gn637.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psjbyht2oi.jpg |
